eeePC model: Other Netbook
Aurora version: Other
Hi all, I have a few questions. Please bear with me... My little netbook titled Asus 1015PN is currently installed with Ubuntu 11.04 (I know, it's not Aurora, not yet) All works well escept VGA out to external monitor, HDMI out, Suspend and Hibernate. I am concerened with VGA and HDMI out mostly. My question is, as Aurora is specifically developed for EEEPC netbooks have the developers resolved the VGA and HDMI issue I have with Aurora distro? Is it working out of the box? If it is working out of the box (and I assume it is) what exactly is it that makes it work? After all Aurora is a derivative of Ubuntu, correct? I've installed a PPA for an app called Jupiter which sets up a taskbar icon that does a few things among which external monitor is one of, but that does not work also. I then installed a command line app called Disper which does make VGA work but its a pain to use as its a terminal app. So does Aurora provide for the operation of the function key combination to goto external monitor?
